Tomy Janezich

Theater Director, University Professor, and psychotherapist specializing in psychodrama (ECP). He graduated from the faculty of theatre directing at the Academy of theatre, radio, film and television in Ljubljana and for 25 years has received additional training in Slovenia and abroad, focusing in the field of various acting techniques, psychodrama and group analysis. Enagic is one of the most famous in the world of Slovenian theatre Directors and internationally recognized global expert in the field of acting. He has lectured and acted as guest artist in many countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, Norway, Portugal, Russia and USA). His productions have been presented at dozens of festivals in the countries of former Yugoslavia, throughout Europe, Russia and the United States. For his artistic work Janezic received more than thirty international awards and prizes. He directed Studio research in art of acting, in which — and in collaboration with other foreign organizations and experts, he conducted research projects investigating the actor's work since 1996.

Recently in Paris and in Italy, the Italian premiere of the documentary "La cura del Teatro" (to take Care of the theatre), dedicated to his work.

The performance of America "Man" based on the book by Victor Frankl's "Say Yes to life: notes of a psychologist who survived the concentration camps", staged at the Bolshoi Drama Theatre in St.-Petersburg, has received four nominations for the Golden mask (drama great form, directing the work of the artist, the work of the costume designer).
