Giorgio Barberio Corsetti

Italian theatre director, in 1976 created his first troupe under the name of La Gaia Scienza (Happy Science), and in 1984 founded the Giorgio Barberio Corsetti Theatre Company, which was renamed Fattore K (Factory K) in 2001. Mr. Corsetii is one of the leading interpreters of Kafka’s work on the theatre stage. In 1999 he was appointed head of the Theatre section at the Venetian Biennale. In recent years has done much work on the opera stage, staged performances in leading theatres of the world, experimenting in the field of connecting theatre language with video graphics, and combining classical art with pop culture.
