Musical performance Mitchell filled honed laconic and enigmatic elegance.

At the heart of performance — the cycle of Robert Schumann and Heinrich Heine's "poet's Love". Composer Bernard Foccroulle and playwright Martin Crimp have created for Katie Mitchell 16 new songs. The Director manages a minimum of expressive means, but sometimes the play looks almost like a detective. Private, lyrical stories, however, admit of reflections on the challenges of modern European society. The main role performed American Opera singer, winner of Grammy and many other music awards, Julia Bullock.

Tours of the theater "buff du Nord" in Russia are held with the support of the French Institute under the Embassy of France in Russia.

The St. Petersburg performances of the play take place in the framework of the International Theatre Olympiad, 2019.
