The play presents an auction with everything for sale, from theatre props, to parts in plays, emotions, memory, parts of human bodies. The prices change with the stock exchange rate. Actors provide witty comments on news bulletins and the behavior of people who try to control others in times of crisis, all the while they themselves are subjected to manipulation by the authorities. All the difficulties subside when love becomes the leading force of the civilization.

In the staged trilogy of Theodoros Terzopoulos Amor comes between Alarme and Encore.
